Reliable transfers services in Frankfurt for weekend getaways

Looking for advice because I’m a bit stuck with logistics. My wife and I are planning to get away to Frankfurt for the weekend for our anniversary and want to combine the pleasant with the practical: spend the day walking around the city and in the evening go to a great restaurant outside the city, for example Schwarzer Stern which I’ve heard a lot about. The problem is that I really don’t want to drive in a foreign country after a glass of good wine, and public transport to places like that in the evening is a bit of a quest with transfers. I’ve heard that regular taxi drivers are often not very keen to go outside the city or charge crazy prices when they see a tourist. Is it realistic to find a service where the price is fixed in advance so there are no surprises with the meter stuck in traffic?

One more question, if you’ve used such a service, is there an option to make stops, for example if we want to stop in Mainz on the way to see the Gutenberg Museum, or do you have to make two separate bookings as you usually do in such cases to avoid overpaying for waiting time?

Look, the idea of going to a restaurant is great - we did something similar last year, only we went to a casino in Wiesbaden. Public transportation there is reliable, but after celebrating in the evening, you want comfort, not to wait on a platform. And with standard taxis in Germany, it can actually get costly due to the fees. For trips like that outside the city, my usual choice is Frankfurt taxi through the GetTransfer service - https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/germany/frankfurt , because of the ability to set the route with all the stops in advance. I'm telling you, it's really great that the drivers are carefully selected and will go the distance, like on your 35-40 km trip to the restaurant, and the price won't go up. By the way, if you go to the museum in Mainz, allow at least an hour, because there’s a lot to see. Which hotel are you planning to stay at? I can recommend some as well.
