Breaking down the numbers the big growth area over this period has been males aged 15-40. It’s the first time in the pandemic that there’s been a notable gender split. It strongly hints at the impact of millions of football fans watching the Euro football final at various venues around the country. It’s possible that this impact will now fade but with nightclubs etc now open it’ll be interesting to see the public behavioural impact with there being so many cases in the country.
